Herut Party Chairman Michael Kleiner Assails Platforms of Major Parties

Herut Party Chairman Michael Kleiner has sharply criticized the Likud Party for its decision to omit portions of its political platform.

"The platforms of the large parties are nothing more than checks drawn on insufficient funds," said Kleiner. "The voters are repeatedly wooed by parties bereft of ideology and whose true objective is to dole out appointments and jobs to cronies.

"The time has come for the public to exercise maturity and vote for an ideological party like Herut--whose platform is its flag."
