Herut Party to Unveil 'World's Largest Election Banner'

The Herut Party is expected to set a Guinness World Record when it unveils the largest election banner ever in the coming days. The 7,000-square meter banner will feature the Herut campaign slogans "Pitzui Pinui" ("compensation and transfer" of Palestinians to Arab countries), and "Taking off for a Better Future With Herut. " The banner will be placed at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport for all arriving and departing passengers to see.
The firm, OJV, will be producing the dispay on behalf of Herut. An optimistic Avi Marom, who is number three on Herut's list for Knesset, says the display will make a fine back-drop for his swearing-in ceremony.
The display will enter the Guinness Book of World Records as "the largest election banner." OJV contends the sign is so large that it will even be visible from outer space. According to Marom, the giant Herut banner "will catch the eye of every arriving and departing passenger and will leave a strong and colorful impression."
