Kleiner: 'Money for Planned 2nd Disengagement Should Instead Fund Emigration of Palestinian Arabs'

Herut Party Chairman Michael Kleiner, responding to interim Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's plans to proceed with a second Israeli Disengagement, said: "The Olmert plan for another disengagement from Judea and Samaria is but another manifestation of Olmert's detachment from reality." According to Kleiner, the Israeli public ought to know there are tens of millions of dollars available for additional disengagments. "With these funds it would be possible to implement Herut's proposal to compensate the emigration of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian Arabs to Arab nations," he said.
